hi this is old art now, i made it when i first started posting about Eiris the end of last year but then uhh his notes got deleted soo i lost motives kinda but i have new ones somewhere-

he is a variant of Benry AND has a matching Loverboy-

Choosing a patron goddess? - Iris

IRIS was the goddess of the rainbow and the messenger of the Olympian gods. She was often described as the handmaiden and personal messenger of Hera. Iris was a goddess of sea and sky--her father Thaumas "the wondrous" was a marine-god, and her mother Elektra "the amber" a cloud-nymph. For the coastal-dwelling Greeks, the rainbow's arc was most often seen spanning the distance beteween cloud and sea, and so the goddess was believed to replenish the rain-clouds with water from the sea. Iris had no distinctive mythology of her own. In myth she appears only as an errand-running messenger and was usually described as a virgin goddess. Her name contains a double meaning, being connected with both the Greek word iris "the rainbow" and eiris "messenger."

Shoujo mangakas - my (possible) top 3

So, these mangakas may not have written all of my favorite mangas, but they’ve made the list because I love most of their manga. 

1.       Mitsuki Kako

I have always loved her mangas. And I’ve read all of them, except for Dear! (for now) and part of Sai x Ai (lack of translation)

A few of them haven’t been translated to english yet – but I’ve heard Chibi Manga is working on them – so I read it in spanish.

To be completely honest, I absolutely love most of her works, but I’ll try to separate a few favorites.

My favorite one shots are Fly High! and Melodramatic Library.

As for the longer ones, Ai Hime – Ai to Himegoto and Kiss/Hug.

 Btw, she also does josei (be warned, all of them are smut as well)

S Love – complete in spanish and portuguese, last few chapters coming out in english

Wana Love - complete in spanish and portuguese

Love Phantom - there are way more chapters available in spanish – or even portuguese – but they’re coming out in english as well.

I found out about her relatively recently, and have read all of her Romance mangas. 

The couples are always super flirty, so I love it.

She only has 3 completely translated works (one of them is still being translated and just had its last volume published in japan) and I love them.

Also, all 3 of them are in the supernatural/fantasy genre.

Keishichou Tokuhanka 007

The "Special crime investigation department 007″ includes the most capable and extraordinary investigators and Fuyuki, who also becomes one of its members, is very capable, to. And she is paired with Kuze, a cool and very handsome detective. Their combination proves to be the most dangerous one the police headquarters had ever seen!

Kainushi wa Akuma

Most people love red hair. It's so vibrant and striking. But not our protagonist, Nora. Many people in her village hate her because she has red hair because of an old legend in the village. Though some people hate her, she still pulls on. But her not -so-ordinary life might become mysterious and dangerous soon... in more ways than one?!

Majo to Kiketsu no Kishi

Her work is really really cute, both the story and the art.

Nagareboshi Lens hasn’t been fully translated yet, but Kogarashi Scans is working on it! You can read it in spanish though, or wait for the last 15 chapters in english.

Lady Iris has several epithets:

She also seems to have a Latin epithet: Roscida meaning Dewy.

The name Iris means rainbow, however, her name is also very close to the Greek word for messenger (eiris).

Originally I didn’t base Freyja or the Iris family on the greek goddess however I had very similar ideas. 

Referencing from the Iris greek goddess, I thought that the Iris family is somewhat the messengers to The 3 subjects of the realm god, who then passes it on to the realm god themselves if they deem it’s worthy. This means that the Iris family only knows the identity of the youngest Realm Subject because of the other 2 subjects rarely being in Etheria.

Eiris, Courier of Light Messenger of the Amaurotines

Swift  as the wind itself, Eiris was rumored to be hardly indistinguishable  from a cloudy blue whirlwind. He delivered missives throughout all of creation, and had time for little else.

In  truth, the messenger had bright, yellow eyes the color of sunshine, and  light blue hair reminiscent of clear skies. He loved to sing, and was  drawn to musical instruments. Around his neck beneath his robes, he wore an ocarina shaped like a sea shell. A surefire way to get Eiris to stay still  in one place long enough was to ask him to sing!

Eiris’s heart brimmed and overflowed with love for his friends. Because of this, what creation magic he had, he used to make a rainbow of bright colors in the sky after the rain. That way, they would be reminded that after the storms, sun would shine again, and he would return to them soon. Rumor had it that he was particularly close to one named Euthalia, and that made the rainbow in all the colors of their flowers.

He met Meteion once, and stopped to admire her feathers and blue hair while he waited for an important missive to deliver. Eiris scoured the fields of Elpis for the any stray bird feathers to tuck behind his ear. He even sang her a little song before dashing off again to tend to his duties.

During the fall of Amaurot, his life was forfeit after delivering a very important message. Despite his timely delivery, the end of days could not not be averted, and thus did Eiris perish among his brethren.

OH OH AND ABOUT HIS LB. How would Eiris' LB start healing from everything once he's out of the computer? Does he ever get all of his memories back? How does he feel about it?

•after escaping the computer the 1st thing he realises is his body absolutely hurts, he needs a nap and a big mac, sleep for days, absolutely pass out and snooze for 35 hours

his body aches like crazy

Spork would help take care of LB while also, like in canon, trying to find a way to uninfect him somehow

but unlike canon this is a more permanent predicament 

•i think most memories would gradually come back to him, reminded by photos and items around the house, things being told to him by Spork or Joshie (since hes a kid i think Joshie would ask to hear stories and some things he just says might spark bits of a memory that Loverboy would have to figure out the rest on his own) (while Spork is actively trying to spark his memory again since LB clearly has some sort of amnesia going)

•this is where Eiris would develop his interest in scrapbooks and photo albums, 

Spork would've shown LB photos of their friendship, marriage, baby and divorce as a way to be able to fill in the blanks that they could 

•sadly some things may be lost forever, usually unimportant things but still things- unfortunately throwing up in Showbiz Pizza is not one of those things.

•great news though! he spends a lot of time with his son while hes in recovery, too sick and in pain from his body being on the floor for days for him to really do much so he watches movies and tv with Joshie

Okay OW [/pos] but also... THAT IS SO GOOD?? How does Tommy feel about everything with his dad and Eiris? Does anyone blame Eiris for everything, or do they understand his reasons and forgive him/help him get to a place where he can heal?

ALSO. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF RESTRICTOR AND EIRIS FINALLY UNFUSED? I have so so many questions your characters and planning is AMAZING

a lot of the forgiveness process involves healing and moving on with time

•Tommys upset and angry, it would take a lot of time for him to forgive Eiris again but he feels like he can't start working on that while his dads still missing.  

•his dad had tried for years to get back in contact with them from the deep web, awake during the 2 years with nothing but silence, and he finally gets to see his son again only to immediately be taken away by a virus

a virus they had called friend. it feels like an absolute punch to the heart..

even when they do get along better i think the fear will continue to haunt him forever

•the ai are (understandably) really hurt and/or angry at Eiris for the trouble he caused, the Boomers especially 

•but with time they will come around (i don't think i could make anyone permanently hate him, even despite how much worse he fucked up than in canon)

•after getting out the computer into the robots that Spork built for them, they start doing better, and then they're able to start healing themselves before they can start to help him

& its partly in hope of saving the Restrictor

 

•while everyone agrees Eiris went rather far with what he did, they do understand how 2 years in the computer all alone in the dark had affected him. they can't totally blame his anger since most of it came from a place of his own hurting, they all quietly know they wouldn't be so calm if they'd had to go through that- but again, most think he still took it a bit too far with the fusion and infection.

•i think Coomer blames him for a long while after, because of things like the torment, blue screening and breaking him, taking Tommys dad, having him accidentally blue screen LBs arm- a lot actually!-Coomers pretty passive aggressive over the entire situation!

but will of course warm up to Eiris to help him eventually,,,

•Bubbys not to subtle with his blame- but he also warms up to him eventually    after at least one threat with fire- 

•Darnold prefers keeps it to himself mainly, but by doing so he also makes his judgement of Eiris' actions clear through how he'd avoid him until he got over it

•Tommys one of the last to accept Eiris again, it hurt so much that he had considered Benrey a friend and then had that all go down. Tommy probably won't be able to forgive Eiris until after they unfuse with Gman

•i don't have much to say for Spork apart from there being a time where they were considering if theres a way for them to manually untangle the Gman and Benreys code but in the end, with points from LB about how he can change, Spork decides that  yes it would be best to let Eiris let the Restrictor go on his own terms.. even if it does hurt Tommy and worry the others.. 

•of course though they  can only start to truely help him once Eiris is ready to start healing.

•trying to before hes ready would have made him worse.

•whenever it comes time to unfuse, Eiris would go back to the computer and willingly let go of the Restrictor 

•as for the Restrictors reaction to unfusing?? imagine the  most disappointed dad frown. the most disappointed, silent treatment from Gman. no words but you can Tell he is so upset and disappointed in Eiris. he doesn't have much time to be angry before Tommy is running to reunite with his dad!

•things will likely never be smooth between Gman and Eiris but he does become less angry over it with time

•Eiris loses his powers obviously

 •following the unfusion, Eiris would request to have wings built into his own body, hes so used to having them a part of him that now without them he feels   wrong.
